Rajasthan: Medical Minister gave these instructions regarding the eradication of tuberculosis by 2025
The World Health Organization has set a target to make the world free of tuberculosis by the year 2030. In this sequence, our country has a target of eradicating tuberculosis by the year 2025. The Medical and Health Department of the state is working towards the goal of making Rajasthan completely free from tuberculosis in this stipulated period.
Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said this while addressing the review meeting organized through VC of the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program today. During this, he has been directed to do necessary work by setting a time-bound target to eradicate tuberculosis in the state by the year 2025.
He has been directed to ensure the facility of sputum testing up to the primary health center as well as to provide a sample collection facility in the health sub-centers.
