At present, there is 0.02% stamp duty on lease deed
At present, there is 0.02% stamp duty on the lease deed. But now if the property is worth Rs 10 lakh, the stamp duty will be only Rs 200. Apart from this, with the registration of tenants, the tenants will be easily identified as their name and address will be available.
It will be easy for the landlord
This facility will provide great relief to the landlord. In such a situation, if there is a rift between the tenant and the landlord or any kind of dispute, the police will be able to easily extract all the information
