Rajasthan: From today these people will vote through postal ballot for Lok Sabha elections

Voting through postal ballot by police officers and police personnel employed on Lok Sabha general election duty will begin from today. Facilitation centres have been set up at various places for this work.

Deputy District Election Officer Neelima Takshak has given this information. He said that voting can be done at these facilities from 8 am to 6 pm on various days from April 5 to April 10, 2024. Neelima Takshak said that on Friday and Saturday, RAC officers and personnel and on other days, police officers and employees will get the facility to exercise their franchise through postal ballot.

Deputy District Election Officer Neelima Takshak has set up 36 polling booths in the convenience centres to ensure voting through postal ballot by police officers and police personnel. Under this, 11 in the Reserve Police Line located at Chandpol, 2 in the Police Academy located at Nehru Nagar Panipech, 2 in Police Telecommunication located at Ghatgate, 2 in Reserve Police Line Rural located at Jalmahal, 4 at Police Headquarters located at Lalkothi, 3 at Home Guard Training Center located at MI Road. 

2 polling booths have been established in the Traffic Police Memorial, one in the Government Secretariat, 4 in the Government Maharani Girls Higher Secondary School located at Banipark, 3 in the 5th RAC Battalion located at Ghatgate and 2 polling booths have been established in the 14th RAC Battalion located at Chainpura.
