Rajasthan Elections 2023: Good news for state employees amid elections, EC approves DA and bonus, announcement may be made today

Assembly elections have been announced in Rajasthan and the code of conduct has been imposed. In such a situation, the government cannot make any announcement now. But now the files which the state government had sent to the Election Commission before the implementation of the code of conduct have been approved. In such a situation, there is great news for the state employees in Rajasthan. 

According to media reports, the Election Commission has approved increasing the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners by 4 percent and giving bonus to 6 lakh employees on Diwali. Now DA will increase from 42 to 46 percent, which will benefit 8 lakh employees and 4.5 lakh pensioners.

Along with this, once the bonus file is approved, the state employees can get a maximum bonus of Rs 6774, equivalent to 30 days' salary, as per their salary. The Finance Department is expected to issue orders for these on Tuesday.
