Taking a major decision on Wednesday, the Central Election Commission has changed the date of assembly elections of Rajasthan state, one of the five state assembly elections. Earlier voting was to be held in Rajasthan on 23 November. But now this voting will be held on 25th November. However, counting of votes will take place only on December 3.

Let us tell you that various political parties and social organizations had written letters demanding the Election Commission to change the date of voting. After this, the Election Commission has changed the date of assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan on November 23, citing large-scale weddings and social programs.

Let us tell you that Devuthatani Ekadashi is on 23rd November in Rajasthan and thousands of marriages take place in Rajasthan on this day. In such a situation, its impact would be visible on voting and the Election Commission would also face problems in acquiring vehicles. In such a situation, now voting will be held on 25th November instead of 23rd.
