Rajasthan Elections 2023: Cash worth Rs 244 crore seized in the last 15 days between elections in Rajasthan, a big record made this year.

Assembly elections are going to be held in Rajasthan within the coming month. Voting will be held in the state on 25th November and election results will be declared on 3rd December. In such a situation, before the assembly elections, the security agencies have also become completely strict and continuous action is going on. 

According to media reports, cash worth Rs 244 crore has been seized in Rajasthan in the last 15 days. In view of the elections, strict vigil is being maintained by police, excise, income tax and other enforcement agencies. In such a situation, a new record has been created in the seizure of illegal cash, liquor, drugs, gold, silver etc. 

It is being told that the total seizure figure in 2023 has crossed Rs 1000 crore. According to officials, the total seizures have increased three-fold this year to Rs 322 crore in 2021, Rs 347 crore in 2022 and Rs 1,021 crore so far in 2023.
