Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while replying to the debate on the Governor's address in the Assembly, has targeted the previous Ashok Gehlot government.

CM Bhajan Lal said in the Assembly on Tuesday that the previous government increased the debt burden on Rajasthan by taking many imprudent decisions in the election year and the state got trapped in the debt trap and became a sick state. Due to such decisions, the debt burden of the state has almost doubled in the last 5 years. There is a debt of Rs 70,800 per person.

During this period, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma even said that the previous government did not utilize the public money properly and spent it unnecessarily on advertisements. Due to his extreme financial mismanagement, even 50 percent of the Jal Jeevan Mission funds could not be utilized.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that bringing the inherited ruined economy back on track is the top priority of the state government. Our aim is to grow the state's economy to $350 billion in the next 5 years.
