Rajasthan: CM Bhajan Lal now said this big thing about women!

The double engine government of the Center and the State is working rapidly towards making women self-reliant. In this direction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started an important scheme like Lakhpati Didi, under which 11.24 lakh women will be benefited in Rajasthan also.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said this while addressing the meeting organized on the annual function of Veer Teja Women's Education and Research Institute and the foundation stone laying ceremony of the girls hostel building in Mundwa, Marwar, Nagaur on Friday.

During this, CM Bhajan Lal said that to make women financially self-reliant, work will be done to form 2 lakh new women self-help groups and to provide loans up to Rs 1 lakh to 28 lakh women through the Women Empowerment Credit Card Scheme. To provide proper opportunities for education, the state government is also committed to providing 30 percent reservation to girl students in co-educational colleges and polytechnic and engineering colleges.
