He announced the formation of 19 new districts in the state along with the formation of 3 new divisions.

In such a situation, after the announcement of CM Gehlot, now there are no 33 districts in Rajasthan, but a total of 50 districts. At the same time, the number of divisions has increased from 7 to 10. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the demand for the creation of new districts was being raised in Rajasthan for a long time. This announcement of Gehlot is being seen as a master stroke.

Along with this, the Chief Minister also announced three new divisions. In this, new divisions of Banswara, Pali, and Sikar have been created. Earlier there were seven divisions of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer, and Bikaner.
