Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is the hero of the country and the state, according to whose vision Udaan scheme has been started to distribute free sanitary napkins to the girls and women of the state.
Women and Child Development and Child Empowerment Minister Mamta Bhupesh said this while inspecting the Government Children's Home and Girls' Home located in Gandhi Nagar on Tuesday. During this, she told that the chief minister of the state, Ashok Gehlot, was concerned about how to connect women in the concept of healthy Rajasthan and healthy Rajasthan.
A survey was done on this and it was found that most of the diseases in women are related to hygiene in menstruation. Based on this, the I Am Shakti Udan Yojana has been started in the state. She said that other state governments should also adopt this scheme in the interest of adolescent girls and women.
Mamta Bhupesh spent more than an hour with the girl child/girl and girls of the Balika Grih residing in the institution, while inspecting the Government Children's Home and Girls' Home located in Gandhi Nagar and inquired about the facilities provided by the department. Bhupesh flagged off the ambulance given under CSR fund.
