Rajasthan Cabinet Expansion News: With the arrival of state Congress in-charge Ajay Maken in Rajasthan, the possibilities of cabinet expansion have intensified. A meeting of the Council of Ministers of Ashok Gehlot government has been called at 5 pm today. There are speculations that after the meeting the resignations of many ministers including Dr. Raghu Sharma, Harish Chaudhary, Govind Singh Dotasra can be taken.

Jaipur. The countdown for cabinet restructuring has started in the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan. It is believed that now in a day or two, the exercise of cabinet reorganization will be completed. The possibility of cabinet reorganization is being expressed on November 21 or 22. A meeting of the Gehlot Council of Ministers has been called at 5 pm on Saturday amid the cabinet restructuring exercise. It is believed that the resignations of many ministers including Dr. Raghu Sharma, Harish Chaudhary, Govind Singh Dotasra can be taken in the meeting of this Council of Ministers.

Rajasthan Congress state in-charge Ajay Maken's visit to Jaipur and the statement from his side have also given more air to these speculations. Maken said that ministers Govind Singh Dotasara, Harish Chaudhary, and Dr. Raghu Sharma have written to the Congress high command offering their resignations and reiterating their willingness to work in the organization. That is, there are three places in the cabinet and it is going to be vacant. The state cabinet can have a maximum of 30 ministers and at present, there are 21 ministers including the chief minister. There are currently 9 vacancies in the cabinet and with the resignation of three ministers, this number will increase to 12.

Non-performer minister will be out

  • According to sources, new faces can be included in the cabinet restructuring by showing the way out to some more non-performing ministers. It is believed that half the faces in the cabinet reorganization will be new. Now, along with the faces that are out of the cabinet, the process of speculation has started regarding the newly joining faces. It is believed that the number of MLAs of the Sachin Pilot faction will be more in the new names.

Shakuntala Rawat

  • - Can be included in the cabinet as a female face

Mahendrajit Singh Malviya

  • - A three-time MLA and has been a cabinet minister in the past
  • - MLA from Bagidaura seat of Banswara district
  • - The party has a big tribal face

KhiladiLal Bairwa

  • - MLA from Basedi seat of Dholpur district
  • - Formerly a Lok Sabha MP
  • - Can be given a place in the cabinet as a representation of the SC class

Hemaram Chaudhary

  • - A six-time MLA and has been a cabinet minister in the past
  • - MLA from Gudamalani seat of Barmer
  • - Belongs to the pilot camp
  • - Can be included in the cabinet as a Jat face

Vishvendra Singh

  • - is a three-time MLA and has been a cabinet minister
  • - Had to leave the post of minister during the political crisis
  • - Can be re-inducted into the cabinet
  • - MLA from Deeg-Kumher seat of Bharatpur

Ramlal Jat

  • - Four-time MLA and has been a minister in the past
  • - MLA from Bhilwara's Mandal seat
  • Jat is the face and is close to CM Gehlot

Govindram Meghwal

  • Two-time MLA from Khajuwala in Bikaner
  • Can be included in the cabinet as representation from the SC category

Narendra Budania

  • - Two-time MLA

Murari Lal Meena

  • He is a two-time MLA and has been a Lok Sabha MP in the past.
