The prestige of Congress and BJP is at stake

This by-election can prove to be a big test for the BJP, as the party had only one of these seats. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has himself taken charge of the election strategy. Congress, which has won 11 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, is also under pressure to repeat its success in the assembly elections. At the same time, regional parties like Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) are trying to maintain their political existence.
