Rajasthan: BJP government will now regularly review this work, CM Bhajan Lal himself said this

Jal Jeevan Mission will be operated on mission mode in Rajasthan. As per the intention of PM Narendra Modi, it will be ensured to provide tap water to all eligible families. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said this while addressing the review meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission at the Chief Minister's Office along with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Wednesday.

During this, he gave instructions to complete the ongoing projects under Jal Jeevan Mission with quality and timeliness to realize the dream of 'water in every house - tap in every house'. CM Bhajan Lal said that during the tenure of the previous government, expected progress could not be made in the mission work, due to which only 46 percent of the families in Jal Jeevan Mission could get tap connections.

The mission will be regularly reviewed by our government, and strict action will be taken against the contractors and officials responsible for irregularities in the mission.
