Before the voting of the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati suffered a major setback in Rajasthan. Bahujan Samaj Party, which was preparing for Lok Sabha elections, has again become zero in Rajasthan.

Two BSP MLAs in Rajasthan have given a big blow to the party by joining NDA today. According to reports, today Rajasthan's Sadulpur MLA Manoj Nyangali and Dholpur's Bari MLA Jaswant Gurjar have acquired membership of Shiv Sena (Shinde faction).

Today, both these Rajasthan MLAs have been given membership of Shiv Sena in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. This time BSP MLAs have joined NDA instead of Congress. The trend of Bahujan Samaj Party MLAs changing parties in Rajasthan is old. Before this, BSP MLAs had been in Congress. With this step of the MLAs, NDA has become stronger before the Lok Sabha elections.
