Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Voting can be done with any one of these 12 alternative photo identity documents.

In Rajasthan, voting will be held on 200 assembly seats in a single phase on 25th November. For this, preparations are in full swing from the Election Commission. Even in the absence of election photo identity card, voters will be able to cast their vote by showing alternative identity document. District Election Officer Prakash Rajpurohit said that he has given this information.
He said that it is being ensured that voters can exercise their franchise without any hassle on the polling day. Voters who are not able to produce an election photo identity card will have to produce one of 12 alternative photo identity documents to establish their identity.
District Election Officer Prakash Rajpurohit said that the 12 alternative photo identity documents include Aadhaar card, MNREGA job card, driving license, PAN card, Indian passport, pension documents with photo, issued to employees by the Central / State Government / PSU / Public Limited Companies.
Service Identity Card with photograph, Passbook with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office, Smart Card issued by RGI under National Population Register, Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the Scheme of Ministry of Labour, Official Identity Cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs and Includes Unique Disability ID issued to persons with disabilities by the Ministry of Social Justice, Government of India.
