Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Today is the last date to apply for it!
Rajasthan Election Department is making every possible effort to increase the voting opposition. Under this, for the first time in the state, home voting facility is being provided in Rajasthan Assembly elections for senior citizens above 80 years of age and specially abled voters with more than 40 percent disability category.
Today is the last date for people to apply for this facility which is being provided for the first time in the assembly general elections in the state. In these elections, 56102 eligible voters have so far applied for this facility as an option.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta has given this information. He told that this facility is as an option. To opt for this facility, the eligible voter will have to fill the Form 12-D given by the BLO and submit it to the BLO. The list of these voters who have chosen the option of home voting has been made available to all the recognized political parties by the returning officer and the polling team formed will get these voters to vote through postal ballot.
