The process of applying for the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan this month has ended. Meanwhile, Dholpur's Congress candidate Shobha Rani Kushwaha has come into the limelight. She left Bharatiya Janata Party and joined Congress. There is now an uproar over the nomination of Congress candidate Shobha Rani. Former MLA Abdul Sagir Khan has made serious allegations regarding his nomination.

Former MLA Sagir has accused Kushwaha of hiding facts about pending cases in his nomination. After these allegations, Shobha Rani Kushwaha faces the threat of cancellation of her form.

Sagir has lodged a complaint in this regard before the Deputy Election Officer. Sagir said that Kushwaha has hidden the information about the chit fund company's case in Patna, Bihar in his affidavit. Now it remains to be seen whether the Election Commission cancels Kushwaha's nomination or not.
