Rajasthan Assembly Elections: So many candidates filed nominations on the first day

The nomination process for the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan has started from Monday. Under this, on the first day on Monday, 8 candidates have filed 9 nomination papers for 8 assembly constituencies in the state. The affidavits to be attached with the nomination papers are also available on the website of the Election Department and KYC-ECI app of the Election Department for the information of the general public.

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta has given this information. He said that on the first day in the state, 7 candidates filed 1 nomination paper each for Ganganagar, Garhi, Bhilwara, Behror, Bansur, Nokha and Chaurasi assembly constituencies and one candidate filed 2 nomination papers in Ghatol assembly constituency.

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that the last date for filing nomination papers is November 6. Nomination papers will not be filed on Sunday 5th November. The nomination process will start from 11 am and continue till 3 pm on these days. Scrutiny of nomination forms will be done on 7th November. The last date for withdrawal of nomination by the candidates is 9th November.
