Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now expressed his grief over this matter.

Before the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan this year, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed sorrow over one thing. He has given a statement on social media regarding Colonel Kesari Singh appointed as a member in RPSC.
He tweeted in this regard that on one hand our government did the historic work of recruiting 3 lakhs which is probably the highest in the country and on the other hand some incidents of paper leaks came to light (similar situation prevails in most of the states, Army and Judiciary) Even the papers were leaked). Keeping this in mind, the government tried to give place to officers from army background in institutions like Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and Rajasthan Subordinate Services Board (RSSB) so that the credibility of these institutions is maintained.
Recently, the government had recommended the appointment of Major General Alok Raj as Chairman of RSSB and Colonel Kesari Singh as member in RPSC. Both of them neither applied nor received any recommendation. He was appointed considering his 37 years and 20 years of military services.
Any person serving in the army is expected to serve the country irrespective of caste, religion, class etc. Soldiers sacrifice their lives to protect the borders of the country, hence they are respected in the society.
After the appointment of Colonel Kesari Singh, some of his statements have gone viral on social media, which are made against a particular caste and individual, which are condemnable, painful and unfortunate. I too am deeply hurt by his comments. Our government had recommended his appointment in view of his military background.
