Rajasthan Assembly by-election 2021: More than so many millions of voters will exercise their franchise
Voting will be held on October 30 for two assemblies of the state under the by-elections. Congress and BJP have declared their candidates for these elections. In the voting for both these assembly seats of the state, 5 lakh 11 thousand 455 voters will be able to exercise their franchise.
Giving information about this, Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that there are a total of 2 lakh 53 thousand 831 voters in the Vallabhnagar assembly constituency, out of which 1 lakh 29 thousand 91 are male and 1 lakh 24 thousand 740 female voters are included. Similarly, out of a total of 2 lakh 57 thousand 624 voters in Dhariyavad assembly constituency, there are 1 lakh 29 thousand 996 male voters and 1 lakh 27 thousand 624 female voters.
Thus, out of a total of 5 lakh, 11 thousand 455 voters in both the Vidhan Sabhas, 2 lakh 59 thousand 87 male voters, and 2 lakh 52 thousand 364 female voters are included.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that this time special arrangements have been made by the Election Commission for 14 thousand 417 voters above 80 years of age and 4 thousand 567 differently-abled voters in both the constituencies.
He informed that 8 thousand 321 voters are above 80 years of age and 2428 are disabled voters in Vallabhnagar Vidhan Sabha. At the same time, in Dhariyavad, 6 thousand 96 voters are above 80 years of age and 2 thousand 139 are disabled voters. Along with this, there are 90 service voters in Vallabhnagar and 8 in Dhariyavad.
