Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now taken a big step to increase the honorarium of workers working at Anganwadi centers and childcare homes. CM Gehlot has now approved the proposal to increase his honorarium. He has given this information through social media.

Ashok Gehlot tweeted in this regard that the Integrated Child Development Services Department (ICDS) has given approval to the proposal to increase the state share of honorarium by 15 percent to the honorarium workers working at Anganwadi centers and childcare homes in the state.

The honorarium of workers working at Anganwadi centers of the ICDS department – ​​Anganwadi workers, mini Anganwadi workers, helpers, and crèche workers has been increased by 15 percent. Presently the honorarium to this personnel is being paid by the Central and State Governments in the ratio of 60:40.

This increase will be 15 percent of the total honorarium being given by the state government to this personnel. This will put a financial burden of Rs 70 crore on the state government every year. It is noteworthy that in the budget year 2023-24, an announcement was made for the increase in honorarium.
