Before the assembly elections to be held this year, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given a big gift to about 8 lakh employees and 4.40 lakh pensioners. Ashok Gehlot has given a big gift today by giving the approval to increase the dearness allowance of the state employees by four percent on the lines of central employees.

He has given this information through social media. In this regard, Ashok Gehlot tweeted that a 4% increase in the dearness allowance of the state employees has been approved at par with the central employees. Now, from January 1, 2023, instead of 38%, 42% dearness allowance will be payable to state employees and pensioners. To give strength to the employees, the state government will bear about Rs 1640 crore annually.

This decision will benefit about 8 lakh employees and 4.40 lakh pensioners. Apart from state employees and pensioners, the benefit of increased dearness allowance will also be payable to Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad employees.
