Former Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has vacated his official residence after losing his Lok Sabha membership and being sentenced to two years. He had received an order from the Lok Sabha to vacate it. After which Rahul also replied by writing a letter. Rahul Gandhi vacated the official residence of 12 Tughlaq Road on Friday. 

According to the information, this bungalow was his official residence for about 19 years, but after his MP, he was ordered to vacate this bungalow. Let us tell you that on March 23, the Surat court sentenced him to 2 years imprisonment in a defamation case. The very next day, Rahul's Lok Sabha membership was cancelled. On March 27, he was given a notice to vacate the bungalow.

Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi has shifted his belongings to his mother Sonia Gandhi's house and now this will be his new home. Sonia Gandhi's house at 10 Janpath is bigger than the Prime Minister's House. PM's house is built in 14101 square meters, while Sonia Gandhi's house is built in 15181 square meters.
