Priyanka Gandhi: Priyanka Gandhi, Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad, Kerala, arrived in Parliament on Monday with a bag containing 'Palestine'. On Tuesday, Priyanka Gandhi arrived with a bag to raise the voice of minorities of Bangladesh. Priyanka Gandhi's Bangladesh bag has 'Stand with Hindus and Christians of Bangladesh' written on it. Apart from Priyanka Gandhi, other Congress MPs also protested in favor of Bangladesh minorities outside Parliament. They also raised slogans of 'Government of India come to its senses' and 'Give justice to the minorities of Bangladesh'.

On Monday, Priyanka Gandhi had to face heavy opposition from the ruling party due to the Palestine bag. However, on one hand, while BJP leaders have raised questions on Priyanka Gandhi, on the other hand, many opposition leaders including Congress have defended her. Union Minister BL Verma said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's 'Palestine' bag is doing politics of Muslim appeasement. BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma said, "The mentality of the three members of the Gandhi family reflects foreign thinking, foreign masks." She is just doing drama by bringing in unrelated issues," he said. "I believe that no one should be given credit for appeasing minorities because injustice is being done," he said.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, "Priyanka Gandhi's bag has 'Palestine' written on it. You can understand they have no connection with India. Just a few days ago, it had 'Italy' written on it and now it has 'Palestine' on it. BJP MP Anurag Thakur said, "One day Asaduddin Owaisi raised the slogan of Palestine in Parliament and today Priyanka Gandhi has brought a bag of Palestine written on it. My question to them is why didn't you say anything when Hindus were being tortured in Bangladesh?"
