The police arrested the accused

Actually, on December 2, a woman was raped in Pandarapath. After which the victim along with her husband reached the police station to lodge a complaint. The victim alleged that a young man named Ishwar Sonwani took her to the forest and raped her.

Demanded chicken and money to register FIR

The police have arrested the accused in this case. Now the woman has given a written complaint to the Jashpur SP and told that the outpost in charge of Pandarapath demanded chicken and money from her to register an FIR.

Had to pay car fare for medical

It is alleged that first he was asked for 5 thousand rupees, but he had only 500 rupees. The police station in charge took that money too. After this the victim was taken to Bagicha Hospital for a medical checkup, where he had to pay 1500 rupees for the car fare, the police station in-charge took 500 rupees and also took a chicken worth 600. He also said that on 5 December he had to pay 3500 rupees for the car fare to come with the outpost in-charge.

Police called the allegations false

The victim has said that he had mortgaged his land for Rs 10,000, out of which Rs 9,000 have been spent so far and he does not have money left even for food. Meanwhile, the police have called all these allegations false. The police said that immediate action was taken on the complaint of the accused and the accused has been arrested.
