PM SBY: Insurance worth Rs 2 lakh is available at an annual premium of Rs 20.

Many welfare schemes are being run by the Central Government in the interest of the general public. One of these is Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. In this scheme of the Central Government, you can avail the benefit of insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh by paying a premium of Rs 20 annually.

That means, to get this insurance you will have to save less than Rs 2 every month. A person between the age of 18 to 70 years can avail the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Under the Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Scheme, on the death of the insured, Rs 2 lakh is given to the nominee.

Rs 1 lakh is given in case the insured becomes partially disabled. In case of complete disability, an amount of Rs 2 lakh is given under the scheme. You should apply today itself to avail the benefits of this scheme.
