PM Modi: PM Modi returned from Indonesia's capital Jakarta, presented 12-point proposal

PM Modi has returned to India after attending the ASEAN-India Summit in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. In his 9-hour journey, he participated in the summit as well as met many leaders. He had reached there late at night for this visit.

According to media reports, in this summit in Indonesia, PM Modi presented a 12-point proposal to strengthen India-ASEAN cooperation in areas like connectivity, trade and digital transformation and also to work towards a rule-based world after the Covid-19 pandemic. Also called for making arrangements. 

In his address during the conference, the Prime Minister said, the progress of a free and open Indo-Pacific region and amplifying the voice of the Global South is in the common interest of all. ASEAN occupies a prominent place in India's Indo-Pacific initiatives and New Delhi is committed to working shoulder to shoulder with it.
