She feels that everyone should get it installed in their house.

People are installing solar panels up to 10 kW.

Gandhinagar's Executive Engineer HV Shah said that people are getting a lot of benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. People are installing solar panels up to 10 kW as per their needs so that they do not face any shortage of electricity. If more electricity is produced in a house and its consumption is less, then the payment for the remaining energy is made to its account. This is a very good system, due to which people are getting financial benefits.

He said that in the society of Gandhinagar, solar panels have been installed for 76 out of 120 people. This is a good figure, it shows that people are liking this scheme a lot and are taking advantage of it.
