Another family also lived in the room next to the room in which the fridge was kept, but they did not even get a clue about it. The accused used to come and check the room from time to time. But on Friday, when the neighbour opened the room to clean it, blood was seen flowing from the fridge kept in the room.

Sanjay Patidar, a resident of Ingoria in Ujjain, lived in the house with his live-in partner Pratibha alias Pinky Prajapati. He vacated the house in March 2024. Sanjay did not interact much with the neighbours. Because of this, no one knew what work he did. On receiving the information about the dead body being found in the fridge, the police reached the spot and as soon as the information was received, a police team was sent to Ingoria in Ujjain to arrest Sanjay Patidar.

Sanjay was brought to Dewas from Ujjain and questioned. He said that he is already married and has been living in a live-in relationship with Pinky for the last 5 years. But since January 2024, Pinky has been pressuring him to marry her. Troubled by this, he, along with his village friend Vinod Dave, strangled Pinky to death. He tied Pinky's hands and feet put her in the fridge and went away leaving the fridge on. He used to come in between and check the fridge. The police have not yet been able to get any information about Pinky's family. At the same time, the accused Sanjay is also being questioned on many other subjects.
