Parvesh Verma from New Delhi. Delhi Assembly Elections 2020: BJP releases first list of 29 candidates

Delhi Elections: Ramesh Bidhuri has been fielded from Kalkaji seat against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. Apart from this, Kailash Gehlot, who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP, has been made a candidate from Bijwasan seat.
BJP Candidates List: The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its first list for the Delhi Assembly elections, which includes the names of 29 candidates. In this list, BJP has given ticket to former Lok Sabha MP Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi seat against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The party has fielded Ramesh Bidhuri against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji seat. Apart from this, Kailash Gahlot, who joined BJP after quitting the Aam Aadmi Party, has been made a candidate from Bijwasan seat.
There are 29 candidates in the first list.
The other names are Rajkumar Bhatia from Adarsh Nagar, Deepak Chaudhary from Badli, Kulwant Rana from Rithala, Manoj Shokeen from Nangloi Jat, Rajkumar Chauhan from Mangolpuri, Vijender Gupta from Rohini, Rekha Gupta from Shalibagh, Ashok Goyal from Model Town, Dushyant Kumar Gautam from Karol Bagh, Rajkumar Anand from Patel Nagar, Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden, and Ashish Sood from Janakpuri.

New Delhi and Kalkaji... Two hot seats...
Both these seats are considered to be hot seats in this assembly election. Because, Kejriwal is contesting elections for the fourth time from New Delhi. Atishi is contesting elections for the second time from Kalkaji. The Aam Aadmi Party is confident that it will easily win both the seats. But, strong candidates of the Congress are also competing with them in both these seats. Sandeep Dixit and Alka Lamba are in the fray. Now the BJP has fielded its old MPs in both these seats and has made the contest triangular in both the seats.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday claimed that all the 29 candidates whose names have appeared in the first list will win. He also said that both the former CM and the current CM are sure to lose. New Delhi: Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday said that former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will lose the election from New Delhi and Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji assembly seat.
