In Durg, Chhattisgarh, a businessman was duped at Rs 17.5 lakh on the pretext of getting his son married. The businessman wanted a Jain girl for his son. Moreover, the businessman's son was also quite old. The female marriage agent took advantage of this. She got the young man married to a girl. She also extorted lakhs of rupees in return. But when the groom came to know the truth about the bride on the wedding night, he was shocked. He has filed a case of fraud against 7 people including the bride.

The case is of Shanichari Bazaar. A businessman living here was looking for a match for his 43-year-old businessman son. He was looking for a Jain girl. Because the family belongs to the Jain religion. The young man has five sisters. Their marriages were arranged first. Due to this, the young man's marriage was delayed. He had also become too old for marriage. It was becoming difficult to find a girl. Therefore, the family discussed this matter with one of their acquaintances in Surat, Mahavir Jain.

Mahavir told them about Indore's marriage agent Sarla. On this Sarla sent the biodata of Indore's young girl Poorva Bharti Jain. The young man's father, sister, and younger brother went to Indore to see the girl to take the matter forward. At that time there was a young man in the house, who was said to be the younger brother of the bride. The girl's family said that they are also Jains. The girl's name was said to be Poorva Jain.

Later, in exchange for finalizing the relationship, marriage agent Sarla demanded 1.5 lakh rupees from the groom's family. Then the groom's family immediately paid 11 thousand rupees. On April 9, Shantilal Gandhi and elder brother Mahavir were introduced as the girl's father. The marriage was fixed on the condition that the boy's family would bear the entire cost of the marriage of about 16 lakh rupees.

Lakhs of rupees kept getting stolen like this.

When the relationship was confirmed, agent Sarla started demanding Rs 16 lakh from the groom's side. On this, they gave Rs 5.5 lakh to Sarla. They said that the remaining amount would be given at the time of marriage. Poorva and other members of her family reached the groom's house in Durg on 23 April. The engagement took place and the bride's side took another Rs 3 lakh. The wedding took place in a hotel in Indore on 3 May. The expenses for this were also taken from the groom's side. The remaining amount of Rs 8.9 lakh was also taken on the spot. In this way, a total of Rs 17.5 lakh was collected.

The bride was suspected.

But when it was the wedding night, the groom, for some unknown reason, doubted the bride. The groom said- show me your Aadhar card. But the bride started procrastinating. The doubt that had arisen in the groom's mind deepened further. After that, he repeatedly asked the bride to show her Aadhar card. But the bride kept procrastinating. After this, one day the groom got his Aadhar card from somewhere. He was shocked to see the name of the bride written on it. The bride was not from the Jain community. Rather, the surname of the bride was something else. On seeing this, the groom held his head. After this, he went to the police station and registered a case of fraud.

When the police registered the case, it was found that not only the bride but all the people had given the wrong names to the groom's side. At present, further investigation is going on against them.
