Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has targeted the Central Government and the Bharatiya Janata Party over the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday night. Former CM Ashok Gehlot has tweeted in this regard.

He tweeted that the arrest of first Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and now Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the pinnacle of misuse of central agencies. It is being seen for the first time in the country that leaders holding constitutional posts are being arrested. ED's work is now limited only to political sabotage.

This is democracy being murdered. It seems that the BJP, which is making noise of 400 votes day and night, does not have the confidence of even 200 seats, hence such dictatorial steps are being taken every day. It is noteworthy that ED has arrested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the investigation of the money laundering aspect related to the alleged scam in excise policy.
