Now the employees of Himachal Pradesh will also get the benefit of old pension scheme. According to reports, the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has once again restored the old pension scheme in the state.

A notification in this regard has been issued by the government. In Rajasthan, the Ashok Gehlot government has first implemented the old pension scheme. The Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh has also given this big gift to its employees. This will benefit 1.36 lakh employees of the state.

The old pension scheme has been implemented in Himachal Pradesh from April 1, 2023. After this decision of the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh, the contribution of state employees coming under NPS will be stopped from April 1, 2023. Significantly, before the 2022 assembly elections, the Congress had promised to restore the old pension scheme in the state.
