With this victory, the BJP has got a clear majority to form the government in Odisha. Two big names in the party are in the race for who will be the next CM there. It is believed that this will be revealed on Saturday and the people of Odisha will also know who will be their new CM.

CM will be elected in the party legislative party

Tribal MLA Ravinarayan Naik, who won from the Kuchinda seat of Sambalpur district, said on Friday that a meeting of the party's legislative party is going to be held on Saturday. This meeting will be held in Bhubaneswar. Observers sent by the party will also participate in it. After taking the opinion of these MLAs, the party observers will submit their report to the party parliamentary board, after which the name of the new CM of the state can be announced.

These names are being discussed for CM

According to sources, the board has also consulted all the 20 MPs who won the elections from Odisha regarding the name of the new CM. Currently, the names of the party's national vice-president and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda, former tribal affairs minister Jual Oram, former education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, national spokesperson and Puri MP Sambit Patra and Bararajnagar MLA Suresh Pujari are in discussion for the post of CM. Although Dharmendra Pradhan and Sambit Patra are being discussed the most, to strengthen the tribal vote bank in the state, the party can also bet on any tribal leader.

Trying to raise the morale of the workers

The party has also intensified preparations for the swearing-in of the CM in the state. There are plans to make this ceremony in Bhubaneswar grand. Apart from PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Chief Ministers of many states and other top leaders can participate in it. There is a plan to invite 30 thousand people to this ceremony. BJP wants to celebrate coming to power for the first time in the state with great pomp. Through this, it also wants to raise the morale of the party workers which has fallen due to the poor results of the Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, it is also eyeing the expansion of the party in Jharkhand and Telangana.
