Given the increasing heat in NCR, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commission started the work of installing green nets on Noida's traffic signals on Monday. Under this, the green net was first installed at the NSEZ intersection so that the drivers and common people stopping at the red light can avoid coming in contact with direct sunlight and their health is not affected.

After this, from Tuesday, other traffic signals which are of 60 seconds to 180 seconds are being marked. Green net will be installed there too so that the drivers or other people standing at those signals can be protected from direct sunlight.

Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has installed this type of net near Kisan Chauraha and Pari Chowk. Soon this type of net will be installed at other places. People will be protected from direct sunlight by installing green nets at places where the red light is very big or where there are heavy traffic jams.

Green nets will be installed on the roadside and at bus stands as well.

On the instructions of Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar Laxmi Singh, Gautam Budh Nagar Traffic Police is installing nets and tents around bus stands and other roadside passenger stopping places to provide relief from the scorching heat.

Green nets have been installed at other places as well.

Earlier, due to the scorching heat in Agra, a green corridor was created at the red light so that two-wheeler drivers could get relief while driving on the road.

Similarly, the scorching heat is wreaking havoc in Rajasthan. In Jaipur, a green corridor has been created at the red light to provide relief to the people from the heat.
