There has been a new twist in the alleged love jihad case in Harasar village of Salasar police station area of the district. Here 22-year-old Diksha reached Churu SP office with singer Yakub alias Amrit Rajasthani and demanded protection. Diksha said that she is a resident of Harasar village and is studying BA. Her father is a dance teacher in Delhi. Diksha said that 29-year-old Yakub alias Amrit Rajasthani is a resident of her village and she has known him since childhood. Yakub used to visit her house and they have been in a relationship for the last one and a half years.
Diksha said that she used to talk to Yakub for 18 hours a day. Her family wanted to get into a relationship with someone else against her wishes, but Diksha did not approve of this relationship because she had heard that the person was a drug addict. Diksha said that on 30 December 2024, she left the house and came to Ratangarh and called Yakub. Yakub also came to Ratangarh and from there both of them went to Jaipur. In Jaipur, they booked a flight ticket to Mumbai and after reaching Mumbai, got the documents of live-in made. Since then, both of them kept wandering here and there on the train.

Diksha said that she is living in a live-in relationship with Yakub of her own free will, but Yakub and his family are being harassed. Diksha said that Yakub ruined her life for her, so she cannot live without him. Let us tell you that Diksha went missing from her home on the evening of 30 December and her family filed a missing person's report. Later it was found out that Yakub had lured her and taken her away. Angry villagers protested this by staging a dharna in front of the police station. Married Yakub has three children.
Diksha had fled with lakhs of cash and jewellery.
Diksha's father has also accused her of stealing cash and jewellery in the report lodged in the police station. According to the report, Diksha had taken away Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand cash, five and a half tola gold and ten tola silver from the house. There were protests at many places in Churu district regarding this matter.
