Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament on 28 May. The inauguration rituals will start from morning itself. If sources are to be believed, pundits have also been called from Tamil Nadu who will also get the puja done. According to the information, it is likely to be organized in a pandal near the Gandhi statue in Parliament.

PM Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and some senior ministers of the government are likely to attend the ceremony. According to the information, after the rituals, the sacred 'Sengol' will be installed right next to the speaker's chair in the Lok Sabha chamber. For which priests from Tamil Nadu will be present along with the original jeweler who designed it.

After this, a prayer ceremony will also be organized in the premises of the new Parliament House. All these works will be done in the morning phase. After this, the second phase will start in the afternoon with the singing of the national anthem in the Lok Sabha chamber in the presence of all the dignitaries including PM Modi. During this phase, a speech will be delivered by Harivansh, Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, who will also read out a written congratulatory message from Jagdeep Dhankhar, Chairman, Rajya Sabha.
