New Direct Flight: Hindon Airport to Bhubaneswar from March 30, Ticket Booking Open

Great news for travelers! Air India Express has received approval to operate a direct flight from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Bhubaneswar starting March 30. The airline has already opened ticket bookings for this new route.

Expanding Connectivity at Hindon Airport

Hindon Airport, which recently launched commercial flight services after six years of its inauguration, is steadily expanding its reach. Last week, flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa commenced, with a second daily flight to Bengaluru set to begin next week. This growing connectivity will benefit not only Ghaziabad residents but also those from nearby districts.

Flight Schedule & Ticket Prices

As per Air India Express’s schedule:

• Departure from Hindon Airport: 9:20 AM

• Arrival in Bhubaneswar: 11:45 AM

• Return departure from Bhubaneswar: 12:15 PM

• Arrival at Hindon Airport: 2:30 PM

Ticket fares range from ₹6,400 to ₹14,750, while fares for flights from Delhi to Bhubaneswar can go up to ₹24,000.

Upcoming Flight Routes

The connectivity at Hindon Airport is set to expand further with the launch of flights to:

• Chennai (March 22)

• Jammu (March 23)

• Second Bengaluru flight (March 10)

This expansion aims to ease congestion at Delhi’s IGI Airport while providing more travel options for passengers.

Future Plans: Four UP Cities to be Connected

Efforts are also underway to introduce flights from Hindon Airport to four major cities in Uttar Pradesh:

• Lucknow

• Varanasi (Banaras)

• Ayodhya

• Prayagraj

Local MP and Aviation Advisory Committee Chairman Atul Garg is advocating for these new connections, which will further enhance accessibility for residents of Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Hapur, Bulandshahr, and Meerut.
