NEET UG 2024 Topper List: Not a single student from the controversial centre is in the top 17, earlier 6 toppers came from one centre

NEET UG 2024 Topper List: After the order of the Supreme Court, on the night of 26th July, NTA released the revised merit list of NEET UG 2024 exam. A total of 17 students have topped. At the same time, not a single student from Jhajjar center of Haryana, which has been in controversy, is included in the top 17.

NTA has released the revised merit list of NEET UG 2024 exam. The revised toppers list was released after the order of the Supreme Court. A total of 17 students have topped. These students have got 720 out of 720 marks. Rajasthan has won the toppers list. 4 students from Rajasthan have topped. Let us know how was the result of Jhajjar center of Haryana, which was in controversy.
Not a single student of Jhajjar centre of Haryana, which has been in controversy, is included in the top 17. The same is the case with Godhra centre of Gujarat, which has been in controversy. Here also, no student has got 720 marks in the revised merit list. There were a total of 61 toppers in the result declared on June 4, whereas the total number of toppers in the revised merit list released is 17.
Only one girl from Haryana in top 20
A student from Haryana, Prachi, is included in the top 20 merit list of girl students released by NTA, who has got 715 marks. On the other hand, not a single boy from Haryana is included in the top 20 list of boys. 3 boys and 4 girls from Maharashtra have made it to the top 20 list. 3 boys from UP are included in the top 20, while not a single girl has got a place. The top 20 list includes two boys from Bihar and a boy and 4 girls from Rajasthan.
What was the dispute about the centre?
When NTA released the result on June 4, a total of 67 toppers were declared. Out of these, 6 toppers were from Jhajjar centre of Haryana. At this centre, two students got 718 and 719 marks. After the order of the Supreme Court, the exam was conducted again on June 23 for 1567 students, the result of which was released on June 30. In this way, the number of toppers decreased from 67 to 61.
Result released 4 times
This time the NEET UG exam was mired in controversies. About 40 petitions were filed in the Supreme Court regarding paper leak and irregularities in the exam. While giving the final verdict in the case on July 23, the Supreme Court had said that there will be no NEET UG re-test. The court had also ordered NTA to release the result and merit list again.
NEET UG result was declared 4 times in total. First time on 4th June, second time on 30th June for 1567 students and then on 20th July on the orders of the Supreme Court, the exam city and centre wise result was declared. After this, on the orders of the court, the revised result of NEET UG was declared again on 24th July.
