According to the information, both of them used to cheat women by pretending to be cunning tantriks. Both the tantriks caught are residents of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. Both have been identified as Farman and Suhail Khan. Police have arrested both the accused on the information of an informer. Different motorcycles have been recovered from both of them. Many valuable items stolen from women have also been recovered from them. Police have also recovered Mangalsutra, earrings, Rs 10590, two bikes, a yellow metal bowl and a neck chain from the accused. Police say about this matter that these accused used to target those women who were troubled for some reason or the other. These thugs used to extort lakhs of rupees from those women by showing them miraculous stones.

Created a Tantrik gang

Giving information about the case, the police further said that these accused used to cheat women by forming their own gang. Apart from Bahraich, they have also cheated women in Saharanpur, Lucknow, Lakhimpur and other districts of the state. Police say that these cunning thugs are associated with an interstate-organized gang. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, they used to commit fraud in other states as well. Both the accused used to pose as tantriks and ask questions to women in a very cunning way. After this, both the accused used to cheat the women by luring them with their words.
