Police have arrested a psycho killer in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He entered the world of crime at the age of 20. 51 serious cases are registered against him in different police stations. He is involved in cases of murder, robbery, dacoity, and illegal weapons. According to the police, the psycho killer targets builders and famous personalities. He has been to jail many times and has absconded in many criminal cases. The arrested criminal was planning to carry out a major incident. Police have recovered a loaded country-made pistol and cartridges from him.
Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that the police had received secret information that a notorious criminal was planning to commit a major crime near Ranchi's Morhabadi vegetable market. As soon as the information was received, a raiding team was formed. They reached the spot, cordoned off the area, and arrested Rajiv Ranjan Singh near the Morhabadi vegetable market.
More than 50 cases are registered.
The accused Rajiv is a resident of Kisko police station, Lohardaga district. He currently lives in Harmu Housing Colony under Argoda police station in Ranchi. He said that the police recovered a loaded country-made pistol from Rajiv. Case number 237/2024 has been registered against him in Lalpur police station of Ranchi. The SSP said that more than 50 cases have been registered against Rajiv in several serious crimes including murder, robbery, dacoity, extortion, and Arms Act. He has gone to jail in many cases, while he was absconding in some cases.
According to the police, Rajiv Ranjan Singh is a psycho killer. There are 51 serious criminal cases registered against him. Even after committing a serious crime like murder, he does not repent for his crime. The accused himself has confessed his crime to the police and said that he has shot at many builders and famous people in Ranchi. He was involved in many famous murder cases. Ranchi police are taking action with sufficient evidence to get the psycho-killer criminal punished by conducting a speed trial.
