Now the police have identified the deceased in this case. The woman's name was Rakhi and according to the police, she was murdered by her husband.

The whole case of this incident is that 8 days ago, Rakhi's body was found in a red suitcase on NH-9 in Hapur. Police investigation revealed that Rakhi was murdered by her husband Nagendra alias Anshul by strangulation. After this, he hatched a conspiracy to dispose of the body. He bought a new red suitcase from the market and packed the body in it so that no one would suspect it. Then he booked a taxi from Gurgaon with the help of his father Ramesh and brother-in-law Dheeraj. The three threw the body 120 km away on the side of the highway in Hapur district and fled. Police have arrested Anshul and his father Ramesh in this case, while Dheeraj is still absconding.

The murder incident dates back to November 16 when the police received information about a woman's body found in a suitcase on the side of NH-9. The police started investigating the case and within 8 days identified the deceased as Rakhi, who was a resident of Singh Rawat village in Sitapur and was currently living in Gurgaon. Rakhi and Anshul had a love marriage in 2020, but there was a domestic dispute between them. There used to be fights between the two over Anshul's interaction with his family, as Rakhi wanted Anshul to stay away from his family.

On November 14, 2024, after a quarrel, Anshul strangled Rakhi to death and packed the body in a suitcase. Then with the help of his brother-in-law and father, he brought the body to Hapur by taxi and threw it. The police have also seized the WagonR car and motorcycle used in this case. According to SP Kunwar Gyanendrajay Singh, the police have achieved major success and arrested Nagendra alias Anshul and his father. The search is on for the arrest of Dheeraj.
