Mumbai Tragedy: Man Found Dead in Hotel, Blames Wife and Aunt in Suicide Note

A heartbreaking incident unfolded at Mumbai’s Sahara Hotel, where 41-year-old Nishant Tripathi died by suicide, allegedly due to harassment from his wife, Apoorva Parikh, and aunt, Prarthana Mishra. Before taking this drastic step, he checked into the hotel for three days and left a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on his door. He also uploaded a suicide note on his company’s website, accusing his wife and aunt of being responsible for his suffering.
Suicide Note Reveals Emotional Turmoil
The police found a digitally secured note in which Tripathi expressed love for his wife despite the pain he endured. He mentioned that while he did not hold hatred, he believed his wife and aunt contributed to his struggles. The note also urged them to stay away from his grieving mother, who was already devastated by his loss.
Legal Action Taken, Investigation Underway
Following a complaint, the police registered an FIR against Tripathi’s wife and aunt under abetment to suicide charges. Investigators are examining the digital evidence, including the suicide note, to determine further actions. No arrests have been made yet.
Mother’s Heartbreaking Statement
Tripathi’s mother, Neelam Chaturvedi, shared her grief through a social media post, calling herself a "living corpse." She described Nishant as her pillar of strength, expressing that her life had lost all meaning. A well-known activist for women’s rights, she had dedicated her life to empowering women and securing justice for thousands. However, the tragedy of losing her son has left her shattered.
The police continue their investigation into the case, and Tripathi’s family demands strict action against those responsible.
