Fed Up with His Abominable Behavior, Mother Kills Son and Chops Body into Five Pieces

Kambham (Andhra Pradesh): In a gruesome incident from Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, a 57-year-old woman killed her own son due to his continued misbehavior and inappropriate actions. With the help of her relatives, she allegedly chopped his body into five pieces and disposed of them in a canal.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) A.R. Damodar, the accused, Lakshmi Devi (57), murdered her son Shyam Prasad (35), a sanitation worker, on February 13. She was reportedly assisted by her relatives in committing the crime.

Mother Snaps After Son’s Disturbing Behavior

SP Damodar stated, "She couldn't tolerate her son's immoral and indecent behavior any longer, which led her to take this extreme step."

Investigations revealed that Prasad had displayed inappropriate behavior towards his aunt and other relatives in Bengaluru, Khammam, and Hyderabad. In Hyderabad and Narasaraopet, he had even attempted to sexually assault his own aunt, according to police reports.

Brutal Execution and Disposal

Following the murder, the victim's body was chopped into five pieces using an axe or another sharp weapon. The dismembered body parts were packed into three sacks and thrown into the Nakalagandi canal in Kambham village.

Police Investigation & Legal Action

The accused are currently on the run, and the police have registered a case under sections 103(A) and 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A manhunt is underway to arrest the fugitives.

This shocking case has sent waves of horror across the region, with many questioning the extent of desperation that led a mother to commit such a brutal act against her own son.
