Most of the announcements made in the public manifesto of Congress remained buried in papers only: Rajendra Rathore
The manifesto has been released by Congress for the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan. Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has targeted Congress regarding this.
He tweeted in this regard that Rajasthan has been looted from the heart, Congress's bundle of lies again. In the last 5 years, most of the announcements made by Congress in its public manifesto remained buried on paper. This time the public's trust is with the BJP's resolution letter.
Congress had promised in its public manifesto to bring petrol and diesel under the ambit of GST, which has proved to be a fraud. VAT on petrol and diesel was increased 6 times during the Congress rule and currently the most expensive petrol and diesel is available in Rajasthan.
The state government is charging 31.04 percent VAT on petrol and 19.30 percent VAT on diesel. As soon as the BJP government comes to power in Rajasthan after December 3, like other states, petrol rates will be reviewed in Rajasthan too.
