MBBS student from Kasganj died in China, the body did not come to India, and uproar ensued

Priyesh Rajput, a student from Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh, was studying MBBS in China, but he died of a heart attack on December 25. His family tried to bring his body to India, but his last rites were performed there. This has created an uproar among the family members.

25-year-old student Priyash Rajput, who was studying MBBS in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, died of a heart attack. This incident happened on 24 December. His family members living in India kept demanding to bring the body of the deceased student back to India, but the body was not brought to India and his last rites were performed there. The last rites were shown to the family members through video calls. But as the body was not brought to India, the family members were deprived of having a last glimpse of him.

Let us tell you that Priyesh, son of former Block Pramukh Shriramnivas, a resident of Rampur village, went to China to study MBBS in the year 2018. His studies were completed and he is currently doing a medical internship.

According to the information received, after his health suddenly deteriorated on the morning of 25 December, he was taken from the hostel to Hubei University of Medicine Hospital. He died at around 1:30 am on the night of 25 December. After the news of his death, there was chaos among the family members living in Rampur.

Permission was not given to bring the dead body to India

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased student requested the Ministry of External Affairs to bring his body from China to India, but permission was not granted to bring the body of the deceased student. The Ministry of External Affairs said that it would take 40 to 45 days to bring the body of the deceased student from China to India and due to this they refused to give permission.

Let us tell you that Priyesh Rajput was admission to the MBBS course at Hubei University of Medicine, Xi'an in the year 2018. During COVID-19 in the year 2020, Priyesh returned to the village from China and continued his online studies from here, but after Corona, he went to Delhi in the year 2021 and studied online from there. In the year 2023, he again went to China to complete his studies.

Happiness turned into mourning in Kasganj

Meanwhile, Priyesh Rajput completed his MBBS and was doing his medical internship at Hubei University in China, but this accident happened during this time. His family members said that he was going to return after completing his studies in January, but the happiness turned into mourning before the internship was over.
