Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been arrested in connection with corruption in the liquor policy and sent on five-day remand with him. In such a situation, today we will try to understand the whole story of Manish Sisodia. Born in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, father was a teacher, Sisodia came to Delhi to study. 

After which he became a journalist. He worked from print media to electronic media. Along with this, he also worked in FM radio. From 1996 to 2005, he was a reporter in the news channel. Left journalism in 2006. 

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia met in 1998. Then Arvind Kejriwal was an IRS officer and during this time both of them met each other while covering his story and the meeting later turned into friendship. 

After this in 2011, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia took the responsibility of Anna Hazare's movement regarding the Jan Lokpal Bill. After this, he separated from Hazare and announced to form a new political party. Sisodia also joined it. 

Manish Sisodia contested from Patparganj in the 2013 Delhi Assembly elections and won. In 2015 too, Sisodia won from Patparganj. After this victory, Kejriwal became CM and Sisodia became Deputy CM.
