Amidst the bail petitions, the Supreme Court told CBI and ED that Sisodia cannot be kept in jail indefinitely. The hearing remained inconclusive and will continue on Tuesday. The Supreme Court asked many questions to CBI and ED. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti asked Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for both the investigating agencies, when the arguments on the charges against Sisodia would begin in the trial court.

According to media reports, the bench told Raju, you cannot keep Sisodia in jail indefinitely. Once the charge sheet is filed in a case, debate on the charge should begin immediately.
