Manipur Violence: Order to shoot rioters on sight, front handled by police and army

The state of Manipur is currently burning in the fire of violence. The situation has become such that the police and army have been ordered to shoot the rioters on sight. Let us tell you that after the movement of the Meitei community, violence has spread in the northeastern state of Manipur. 

In this regard, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken stock of the situation in Manipur by talking to Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and has also talked to the Chief Ministers of other neighboring states. According to the information, this violence has spread after the demand to include the Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) in the state. If media reports are to be believed, security forces have been sent to the state to bring the situation under control. 

In the order issued by the Governor, it has been said that "shoot at sight" action can be taken if the situation is not under control despite warnings and persuasions. The situation has deteriorated in eight districts. It is being told that so far 6 people have died in the violence.
