Major accident of former CM Vasundhara Raje's convoy: Car overturned 3 times, 7 policemen injured

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's convoy met with an accident in Pali, and seven policemen were injured. Raje herself helped the injured and took them to the hospital.

Pali. An escort vehicle in the convoy of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met with a major accident on the road between Bali and Kot Baliyan in Pali district on Sunday. The police Bolero vehicle overturned while trying to save a bike rider, injuring seven policemen sitting in the vehicle. All the injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. After the accident, the Collector, Superintendent of Police and SDM reached the spot.

Vasundhara Raje had gone to attend the mourning of her mother

Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had gone to Mundara village to condole the death of state minister Otaram Dewasi's mother. This accident happened while returning after the program. During the incident, Vasundhara Raje immediately got down from her vehicle helped the injured and took them to the hospital. During this time, MP PP Chaudhary, Bali MLA Pushpendra Singh and former BJP state president Ashok Parnami were also present with Vasundhara Raje. Earlier, Vasundhara Raje had also condoled the death of Nagana Dham president Ummed Singh Rathore in Araba of Balotra.

Accidents are constantly happening in VIP convoys in Rajasthan

This is not the first time that an accident has happened in a VIP convoy. Earlier on December 11, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's convoy had met with an accident in Jaipur. A speeding car hit a police vehicle at the NRI intersection, in which ASI Surendra Singh died and five policemen were injured.

Policemen are in serious condition

After the accident in Pali, the condition of the injured policemen is said to be stable. The administration has started investigating the incident and has said that it will ensure that such accidents do not happen in future. Vasundhara Raje has also expressed concern over the incident and wished for the speedy recovery of all the injured.
